The Good

• One of the top casinos in Las Vegas ever since in opened in the early 90's
• Sigfried and Roy performers put on their wildlife and magic show year round
• Each night, the volcano out front explodes in 15 minute intervals. A must-see for all Vegas tourists
• Sigfried and Roy have helped the preservation of the White Tiger. These animals are on display when not in the show
• The Mirage poker room has been called the "Poker Capital of the World" and lives up to this title
• The sports book is classy and big - great for watching that big game
• The aquarium located behind the front desk in the lobby is a unique touch
• This is the place to see someone famous in Las Vegas. After all, this where Michael Jordan plays (but he might have moved to the Bellagio)
• There is a oft run tram to the next door neighbor, Treasure Island
• The rain forest located in the lobby has the dampest, freshest air in all of Las Vegas
• This was Las Vegas' first mega-casino built by Steve Wynn
• The buffet is of the highest quality in town

The Bad

• Expensive. Top price level in rooms
• Ttable limits are as high as anywhere in the city
• Sigfried and Roy tickets for a family of four are over $350

The Ugly

• The Mirage was home to the Griswald family in Vegas Vacation. Chevy Chase gave all of his money to a dealer ... hope that doesn't happen to you
• Mirage resorts owns a golf course called Shadow Creek in Las Vegas that is said to be the most exclusive course in the world, with only the highest of rollers and celebrities being allowed to play in the course. For $1000, you get a limo at the airport, a suite at the Mirage, and a round of golf
