Buffalo Bills Desperado is the roller
coaster that you have either dreamed about or feared. While only the second-tallest
coaster at 225 feet (the Japanese built one taller), it is still the fastest
roller coaster in the world. The initial 225-foot hill, taller than the
hotel itself, raises you only to hurtle you downward at speeds in excess
of 85 mph. Speed is not the only thing this coaster delivers. It contains
a series of tunnels, twists, and turns that would make a brave man break
down and weep like a child. If you survive the first time, its worth
doing twice, if you can.
Also at Buffalo Bill's is a new
compressed-air catapult ride, the Turbo Drop. This ride fires you straight
down at 45 mph allowing you to experience a total of negative-four-Gs,
just like you always wanted. The hotel also contains a sizable arcade,
a few "motion" theaters, and an "interactive" log
flume ride, with robotic cowpokes and critters.
