Considered
one of the best values in Las Vegas, Caesars Magical Empire is a feast for
your palette and eyes. In fact, sometimes you won't even believe your eyes,
as magic is performed throughout the evening. A derivative of L.A.'s
Magic Castle, Caesars put it's own touch and a lot of Las Vegas into the
event. Caesars Magical Empire is basically a dinner show and magic within
a fabulous facility, but this doesn't describe all that's going on. In the
building there are revolving rooms, tunnels, catacombs and theaters that
all have some sort of surprise.
Guests are divided into groups of about twenty and
then led by Centurions through the tunnels into a private dining room.
(Guests must be at least ten years old) Each dining room has it's
own magician who performs tricks and plays out a storyline while you eat
dinner. The evening is meant to be interactive, so the magician will try
and involve you. Play along to increase the fun. Not only are most of
the magicians very talented, they're also very funny.
After the three-course dinner, guests are taken through
the Cavern and eventually led into a huge domed theater that features
several magic acts. Two of the best acts were Lumineria,
a fantastic light and pyrotechnics show and Invisibella
a funny ghost piano player. There are hidden tricks everywhere, so ask
the staff for some tips.
The cost for Caesar Magical Empire is about $70,
but you you get a lot of food and entertainment for your money. There
are about 10 dining rooms, so you could return and have a different magician.
Make reservations early.
