Michael's

As the Barbary Coast's gourmet restaurant, Michael's is designed like the rest of the casino - a turn of the century San Francisco look that is plush and luxurious. Michael's is popular with locals and over it's nineteen years at the Barbary Coast it has garnered numerous awards including being voted the finest gourmet restaurant in Las Vegas by the readers of the Review Journal. Some of the house specialties at Michael's include Dover Sole, Rack of Lamb, Chateaubriand for two,  and Kansas City charcoal-broiled rib chop. The deserts are equally renown. Michael's is famous for it's chocolate-dipped fruit as well as their Bananas foster. Two separate seatings are available, at 6:30 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. Reservations are necessary. Call (702) 737-7111 to make reservations.

Drai's on the Strip

Opened in the fall of 1997, Drai's on the Strip is the Las Vegas version of the popular Californian restaurants opened by former Hollywood movie producer, Victor Drai. The dining room is accessible via private elevator from the Barbary Coast's casino and has a plush lounge that features live entertainment on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8 o'clock. Some of the house specialties include entrees made with Black Angus beef and free-range chicken. If you like lamb, try the Seven-Hour Leg of Lamb- it's divine. Dinner is served from 5:30 p.m. until midnight. For dinner reservations call (702) 727-0555

The Victorian Room

Open 24-hours, this diner offers the usual coffee shop fare along with some more unusual entrees like Alaskan crab legs. Chinese food is also available for lunch and dinner starting at noon.
