Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino

Casinos > Dining

Food courts are ubiquitous in Las Vegas , but the one at the Monte Carlo is worth mentioning. It has some big name national chains in a clean, pretty setting. Night-owls will be glad to hear it's open daily until 3am, but individual store hours vary.  Stores in the food court include McDonald's, Sbarro,   Haagen-Dazs, Nathan's Hot Dogs and Golden Bagel

Dragon Noodle Co.

This interesting restaurant is designed according to the tenets of  Feng Shui, the Chinese art of building interiors to derive the most positive energy and prosperity. The result is minimalist beauty, (we're pretty sure the luck stays in the restaurant because the Monte Carlo cleaned us out). The walls of the dining room are adorned with pretty Asian utensils and tea pots and classical piano music plays in the background, creating a nice spot to have lunch or dinner.

The dishes are unlike most Chinese food you've had before because they blend various culinary styles of the orient with contemporary styles in a food classification called Asian Fusion. For appetizers, try the pan-seared potstickers; they're very tasty and you can create your own dipping sauce by combining Hoisin sauce, chili oil and rice vinegar. The Dragon Noodle Co. is known for its large selection of both hot and iced tea, served in beautiful pots.

Monte Carlo Pub & Brewery

This restaurant clears away tables to become a fun dance club and microbrewery at night. Catering to local business people, the club has drink specials, a fully stocked humidor, big screen televisions and a dueling piano show.  The micro-brewed beers are good and you can order pizza and assorted bar foods until late.  The Pub is open until 1am Sunday to Thursday, 3am on Friday and Saturday.

Blackstone's Steak House

This great steak house has a classic selection of seafood and chops including aged,   prime Midwestern beef. The dishes are prepared to perfection in an open-hearth charcoal broiler.  The luxurious dining room is decorated with a wall of stained glass windows, mahogany paneling and candlelit booths. Dinner only.
