The Rio Hotel & Casino

Casinos > Dining

Fiore

This fine Italian restaurant is impeccably run by chef Kolachai Ngimsangaim. The dining room is beautifully designed with mahogany ceilings and well dressed tables while the dishes are mostly Italian with a mixture of southern France's culinary style.   Fiore is known for its huge wine list and fine dining. Sommelier Barrie Larvin has assembled a list of over 400 wines, 45 of which can be ordered by the glass. One attractive feature of Fiore is that one can see into the kitchen where wood-burning ovens flavor pizzas with nine varieties of wood. If the weather is nice, consider sitting on the flagstone terrace that is bordered by flowers.

All-American Bar & Grille

This is a real American sports bar, and you'll have a hard time forgetting that fact while your sitting in the restaurant. There are pieces of Americana everywhere along with sports artifacts and memorabilia. (There's a portrait of George Washington near Roger Staubach's jersey.) The menu is as you would expect.  Lunch offers good burgers sandwiches and salads. Dinner entrees include steaks and seafood accompanied by a choice of over 25 domestic beers.

Rio's Carnival World Buffet
(702) 252-7777
Breakfast: (8:00 AM to 10:30 AM) - $7.95; Lunch: (11AM to 3:30 PM) - $9.95, Dinner: (3:30 PM to 11 PM) - $12.95; Weekend Brunch $12.95

This is one of the best buffets in Las Vegas. The dining area is clean, festive and colorful and the service is pretty good. The real attraction is the great food. Aside from the usual buffet offerings, Rio has numerous international food stations. You can get some national favorites from Mexico, China, Japan and Brazil. There are also stir-fry stations, a barbecue station and an area for hot dogs, burgers, fries and shakes. A cash bar is also available.
