A Passport To The World's Culinary Delights: The Venetian Brings A Renaissance Of World Class Dining To Las Vegas

The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, brings a culinary renaissance to Las Vegas by gathering 14 of the world's finest chefs and restaurants under one roof. Whether strolling through a recreated 15th century streetscape or dining along a replicated Grand Canal, visitors to The Venetian will have a passport to a world of culinary delights with choices such as Eberhard Muller's modem French cuisine, Stephan Pyles' southwestern fare and Piero Selvaggio's contemporary Italian recipes.

Because each restaurant is investing between $3 and $9 million, and will be independently owned and operated, each will be a genuine reflection of the chef's vision and talents. In addition, many of these restaurateurs are venturing into Las Vegas for the first time to be a part of this new culinary renaissance.

"The Venetian has brought together the country's master chefs, offering guests the dining experience of a lifetime," said Robert Goldstein, president, The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, "There is no other hotel in the world that allows diners such a vast array of culinary delicacies prepared by such stellar chefs as Eberhard Mailer, Stephan Pyles and Emeril Lagasse. With so many options, guests will find each visit to The Venetian holds a new epicurean journey."

With over 3,000 restaurant seats, diners at The Venetian will have an endless array of culinary choices:

Overlook a gondola-filled canal while enjoying California cuisine with Asian and Mediterranean influences at Wolfgang Puck's Postrio, or authentic Northern Italian fare at Canaletto from the creators of the famed Il Fornaio. See our feature on Postrio

Enter Venice's authentically recreated Ca'D'Oro Palace where Eberhard Muller's Lutece serves mouth-watering French cuisine that, until now, could only be savored by visiting Muller's award-winning Manhattan restaurant.

Stroll along Restaurant Row on the casino floor level to see a star-studded line-up of world-class chefs who have ventured to Las Vegas for the first time: Piero Selvaggio's Valentino, Stephan Pyles' Star Canyon, Joachim Splichal's Pinot Brasserie, and Kevin Wu's Royal Star featuring Master Chefs from Hong Kong.

Celebrity Chef and author Emeril Lagasse rounds out the wall-to-wall restaurants by adding his Creole flavor to Las Vegas with Delmonico Steakhouse, a classic American steakhouse whose inventive style features tableside service and preparation.

Gian Paulo "Zeffirino" Belloni, the fourth generation in a family of chefs, brings his Italian authentic technique to The Venetian with Zeffirino. The restaurant will focus on seafood with an Italian flair, with such delectables as Filet of Sole Piccola, lobster tail, fresh fish, grilled fish, zuppa, salads, and pizzarettes and pastas.

Casual diners looking for great food, good service and large portions will enjoy the Grand Lux Cafe from the creators of The Cheesecake Factory. Or, sample a marketplace menu of authentic Mexican dishes with an American ambiance from the father of southwestern cuisine at Stephan Pyles' Taqueria Cagonita.

Located in the center of the famed Las Vegas Strip, The Venetian Resort-Hotel & Casino combines the romance of Venice and the luxury of Beverly Hills with the excitement of Las Vegas.
