The Imperial Palace occupies one of the best spots on the strip.
Located across the street from Caesars and right next to the Flamingo
Hilton, you can't help but wander into the Imperial Palace. Although
it's not a dazzling visual spectacle like some of it's neighbors,
the Imperial Palace will surprise you. The building is constructed
to resemble an Asian pagoda and there are works of Asian-ish art
all over the place including giant wind-chime chandeliers. However,
the real draw of the Imperial Palace are the events and services
provided by the casino.
One of the most famous
attractions in Las Vegas is the automobile show at the Imperial
Palace. (see attractions) Car enthusiasts and history buffs will
both find something of interest among the 800 automobiles and vehicles
in the collection. Another event for which the Imperial Palace is
known is the "Legends" headline show, where famous celebrities
are impersonated without lip-syncing. It has had a successful
run at the Imperial Palace for almost fifteen years. One of the
lesser known, but invaluable services provided by the casino is
that it provides 24-hour emergency care that is open to the public.
Hopefully you will not have need of their services, but it's nice
to know it's there.
Lastly, the Imperial
Palace is known for it's "Luv tub" suites. These suites
are an exceptional value (especially considering it's location)
and have several amenities that will help you complete your Vegas
experience. Each of the suites has a sunken 300-gallon tub built
for two (or more), mirrors around the tub and over the bed and every
room has it's own balcony. Viva amore; Viva Las Vegas.
