Las Vegas is the gaming mecca of the earth! Sure, there are casinos
springing up all over the United States, but there really is no
substitute for a true Las Vegas Casino. We have examined over 50
casinos in six different categories (overview, inside tips, quick
facts, restaurants, entertainment and hotel information). We have
also broken them up into three locations: The Strip, Downtown and
Off Strip. Take a look at our quick and easy to use Las Vegas Casino
guides.
Las
Vegas Strip Casinos - These are the properties that are
located in the center of town. Mirage, Caesars, Treasure Island,
New York New York are just a few examples. This is the nicest section
of town. Expect room rates and table minimums to be the highest
in the city.
Downtown
/ Fremont - Considered to many as "Old Vegas,"
this section has seen a major revitalization with the million light
Fremont Street Experience. Casinos located here are Golden Nugget,
Las Vegas Club, and The four Queens, just to name a few. This area
has a quaint charm and lacks the exploding volcanoes and moving
figures. Table minimums and room rates are very affodardble.
Off
Strip Casinos - These casinos are spread out all over Las
Vegas. Some are very close to the strip like the Rio, and some are
quite a distance like the Sunset Station. Rates and minimums vary.
