Bruno's Indian and Turquoise Museum has the largest collection of turquoise
stones in the country. There are displays of artwork utilizing the stones
including earrings, paintings and sculptures. Open daily 9 a.m. - 4:30

Clark County Heritage Museum

This museum captures the history of the region by chronicling the exploration,
settling and industrialization of the area. There are numerous exhibits
relating to Nevada history including displays on Indian cultures, historical
replicas and a ghost town. Open daily 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. $1.50 adults;
$1 senior citizens and children 3-15 free.
Guinness World of Records Museum

Experience the Guinness Book of Records in all it's weird and wonderful
glory. There are hands-on, interactive exhibits along with displays on
everything from the most married man to the smallest bicycle. There is
also a feature on all the records held by the city of Las Vegas. Open

This new $20 million facility is one of the only places in town to see
the works of international, domestic and regional artists. (besides the
fabulous art collection housed inside the Bellagio) Open Tue. -Sat. 10

Las Vegas Natural History Museum

Located across the street from the Lied Discovery Children's Museum, the
Las Vegas natural history museum is a well-worn but comfortable museum
that features stuffed examples of local wildlife. There's also a hands-on
activity room where kids can handle bones, shells, and other artifacts
from natural history. The room's main attraction are the two life-sized
dinosaurs that roar at each other. The giftshop is notable for it's educational
wares. The museum is open daily, 9 a.m. -4 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults;
$4 for seniors, military& students; $2.50 for children 4-12; under
4 free

Lied Discovery Children's Museum

The Lied Discovery Children's Museum is a fantastic place to bring kids.
The exhibits are educational without making the kids feel like they're
back in school. As one of the country's largest children's museums, it
has over 100 hands-on exhibits regarding topics like the arts, humanities
and science. Open Tue. - Sat. 10 a.m. -5 p.m.; Sun. 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. Dark

Marjorie Barick Museum of Natural History

Exhibits regarding the Natural History (zoology, ethnology, archaeology,
