Located directly on the Strip, Sega
Gameworks is a huge arcade that features a 75-foot climbing wall.
You start on the arcade level and climb up a wall that looks and
feels like rock-face. Hand-holds are placed along the walls to
help raise yourself, and a guide will offer suggestions as they
hold your safety line. You can see people scaling the wall from
the street, making it a very peculiar sight.
The multi-level facility has over 250
arcade games ranging from classics like Ms. Pacman to the latest
hot video games. Instead of quarters, the machines take what looks
like a thin credit card. You can charge the card with up to twenty
dollars, but they'd be glad to sell you another if you need it.
It's easy to spend a lot of time here. In addition to the rock
climbing wall and video games, Sega Gameworks has a lounge with
pool tables and televisions. It's prime location and late hours
makes it impossible not to take a peek. Call (702) 432-4263 for
more information.
